After receiving her MFA in Printmaking from University of New Mexico, Kimiko Miyoshi built scientific exhibitions for Explora Science Center, a children’s science museum, in NM. The work had a great effect on her creative practice. The focus of Miyoshi’s work is to transform insignificant objects or mundane phenomena into seductive works of art.
